Mining often contaminates water sources with toxic runoff, further harming aquatic life and putting human health at risk. This type of exploitation prioritizes short-term profits over the long-term sustainability of our lands, waters, and cultural traditions. We must protect our Earth for future generations instead of destroying it for temporary gain.
