I am firmly opposed to the sewage proposal at 955 Lakeshore Blvd (Ontario Place).
It goes against decades of work by the City to separate and replace combined sewers across the city to prevent raw sewage into Lake Ontario. This would be a tragedy for our Province's capital, all of the residents and aquatic life. It flies in the face of international treaties to protect water quality and life in our Great Lakes. This proposal to benefit private sector initiatives is not in the public interest and threatens the stability of the lake ecosystem in a time of severe biodiversity loss and climate breakdown.
