This is a much needed season for controlling cormorants numbers. I have a cottage in the Bruce Peninsula and many of the small islands in Lake Huron are overrun with them. It is almost unbearable to go near the islands by boat, due to the smell. You can feel the burn in your eyes if traveling to close. It’s like a toxic waste land.
