I oppose this plan as it places the sewage overflow in an area that has heavy use by swimmers, paddle boarders, canoes, etc. Placing sewage overflow discharge in this area puts the people of Toronto at increased risk.

Installing new sewage overflow also flies in the face of years of work by the city to replace combined storm and sewage pipes. Raw sewage discharge into the lake is an environmental and health risk.

This proposal prioritizes the profits of Therme over the health of Torontonians and our waterfront.
