I'm very concerned about the proposal for a combination sewer to support development at Ontario Place - 955 Lakeshore Blvd. It threatens to discharge raw sewage into Lake Ontario. Especially with the rapid cycling effect of climate change, overflow and flooding is more frequently happening in Toronto, not less, so this possibility should be considered a guarantee. This risks health of those who swim at the Beaches, providing tourist income to Toronto. It also harms the habitat in the Lake. It's been kept from the public without consultation, and is not in keeping with environmental protections.
