I am commenting on the proposal for an interim combined sewer to support development at Ontario Place, 955 Lake Shore Boulevard.
The Ontario gov't has failed to hold any public consultations. Yet, they're ready to move ahead with a combined sewer that will spew raw sewage into Lake Ontario, the source of our drinking water. It appears that in the hurry to proceed no consideration has been given to recreational activities that we all enjoy such as swimming, fishing, kayaking and canoeing. Raw sewage also threatens the many birds that frequent the area as well as numerous species of fish.
Please deny this permit.
