I ask that the stormwater discharge from interim combined sewer overflows not be approved at 955 Lake Shore Boulevard West. To do so would be environmentally deleterious to the islands whereupon the Ontario Place sits, the flora and fauna living therein and to the enjoyment of Lake Ontario by residents.

As far as I understand, this proposal is meant to be succeeded by the eventual construction of a parking lot on these lands for a privately-owned spa, which would present the same hazards to the surrounding environment via outflows and bioaccumulation of bituminous compounds, road salt, microplastics and other pollutants.
