My family and I are vehemently opposed to the waste site proposed for 98 Milvan Dr. The property directly borders residential backyards where families expect to be safe. The suggestion that this would be non-hazardous waste undermines our community as we are well aware of the health effects of asbestos when asbestos-containing materials become disturbed. No matter what safety protocols are in place, it only takes one accident to affect countless lives. One-time exposure to asbestos is enough to cause life-altering, and life-ending disease. The consideration for this facility to be on a property that directly borders residential homes is outrageous. The community urges that this proposal is denied at all costs.
