This matter was brought to my attention through family friends. I grew up in the area and currently have my mother living there, as well as many families I grew up with. I find it quite unsettling that the community was not made aware or this in more transparent way. The area has many families, including children and elderly members. I would hope that this, along with the safety and well-being of the community, would be taken into SERIOUS consideration, before making any final decision around placing such facility in the community.
