This absolutely should not…

This absolutely should not stand, an EA assessment was promised to be conducted to the people due to MASSIVE issues to where they want to put this. This proposed dump/landfill is too close to a highschool, elementary school and a cemetery...Not to mention the citizens itself!

The company did not properly talk to the citizens, we were left in the dark until it was discovered and have been unified in we do not want this in our town. The trucks they seek to run constantly are a danger to our school buses and tractors during harvest time (our roads cannot handle this kind of traffic). It has been stated that the leachate they will generate cannot be treated locally, which means it is at risk while being transported further out/could potentially get into Molly's Creek during flooding.

Dresden's Sydenham River is home to countless endangered animals and will be butted up again Molly's Creek that drains into it. This is also a flood plain and if you've never been to Dresden, this happens consistently during heavy rainstorms and thaws.

We demand the EA to continue to help safeguard our natural environment, friends and families. No one should have to live this close to a landfill!
