Removing the environmental could have serious repercussions on the Sydenham river. Near this proposed dump site there is a stream that runs into the Sydenham. Garbage coming out of Toronto will almost surely have items that will have dangerous run off after rain.
Garbage trucks will be rolling down hiway 21 past an elementary and a high school. There sis a single cross walk for the elementary and nothing at the high school. One child has already been hit crossing the road. Truckers driving through rarely drive the posted speed limit. I fear more children could be hurt.
The smell that results from a dump is most unpleasant. The air pollution that will result will affect our property value and resale prices of our homes.
There NEEDS to be an assessment. But more than that and area further from a town needs to be found closer to Toronto where they can keep their garbage.
