Cormorants have plagued our lake (Nipissing) on the west end for decades now. We have seen over time how cormorants have displaced seagulls in nesting grounds and habitation. We've seen them in flocks of hundreds fishing destructively and thriving. It's time to start limiting the damage they are doing to an already at risk fish population for the sake of the ecosystem.
