These protections should not and cannot be allowed to be weakened. I strongly oppose the weakening of the Endangered Species Act and oppose the proposal for the Species Conservation Act. We need to uphold our biodiversity and our ecological and environmental health with stronger protections. Corporate interests should not come before environmental stewardship.
