The removal of the Endangered Species Act will not “unleash our economy”. It is a critical step backward that will destroy our vulnerable ecosystems and wildlife. Watching this happen just days after similar laws were attacked in America goes to show that Doug Ford is not interested in the betterment of Ontario or its citizens. He is fuelling a cycle of corporate greed that destroys our ecosystems and kills our vitally important wildlife. It is an action taken with ignorance and in education. This is not the Ontario that I am proud to be in, this is not the government I respect.
