We are all shocked actually. We had this beat and now it’s obvious that the Provincial government wants to allow Toronto’s (and perhaps elsewhere) construction waste to be dumped here. Are we having to fight our own provincial government as well as York One? It appears so. It was bad enough to have the province side stepping the Conservation Authorities and allowing their “Ministry" to override whatever they want. Removal of the comprehensive environmental assessment, supposedly due to tariffs on garbage being brought to Michigan should not be allowed to out weigh the risks to our local environment and its people. So maddening.
