The dissolution or gutting of any aspect of the Endangered Species Act makes every facet of a healthy, sustainable future impossible. To suggest that repealing or lessening the protections for our most vulnerable, person or animal, sets a precedent that morality and compassion can be swept aside for profit. To what extend will this extend? First our landscapes and protected wildlife, then the homeless, the elderly, the children, the misunderstood or marginalized? How far will your misinformation spread once a life is negotiable for a profit?
