This is bottom-of-the-barrel stuff. These proposed changes are an embarrassment and will make Ontario a worse place to live, create a space nobody wants to invest in except Ford's existing washed-up business partners, and cement the Ford government's negative place in history textbooks. The costs and timeframes it claims are unnecessary are literally just the cost of doing business in a way that makes Ontario a good place to live. Nobody thinks that "making sure we don't wipe out Ontario's native species" is the reason we don't have our desired amount of housing or infrastructure. Get a grip and scrap this - there are plenty of actual efficiences you could be going after instead of gutting what little good stuff Ontario already has, and you better believe Ontarians can tell the difference.
