It is important to not change the rules of the endangered species act because those rules were made to safe guard at risk species and ensure that any decisions made about destroying any animal habitats have been fully examined, as these decisions have ramifications for all life on earth.
We need bio diversity for our own survival.
The negative consequences of the destruction of an animal habitat needs to be carefully weighed in assessing whether its benefits outweigh the long term risks. This process maybe cumbersome and time consuming, however, it’s better to err on the side of caution.
I do not support this bill.
