NO!! The proposed changes put species at risk and give economic growth top priority. This is NOT a path to a sustainable future. We cannot continue paving over our wetlands, farmlands, and forests and expect to maintain a healthy human population as we destroy our environment. Speeding up the process, reducing scrutiny and ignoring impacts on endangered species is NOT what the government is supposed to do. Its mandate is to look after the common good and the foundation of the common good is caring for the environment, supporting ecosystem functions and all the species within it, not just humans.
