I live on the St Lawrence River, I have seen many cormorants feasting every day on the sport fish and their minnows in front of our house. They have distoryed many trees which they nest in and smeared our boats and docks with their shit. The numbers of small bait fish have drastically declined because of their numbers. There are about 100 nest cormornants with in a mile of my home and we need a season to save the fish!
