Imagine raising your family in a rural community with beautiful waterways and greenspaces. A quiet community struggling to stay alive during COVID. Family owned businesses, generational farms all struggling.
Then just when you begin to see a light at the end of a tunnel....THIS proposed landfill is dropped into our laps.
It will change the landscape of our entire community now and for generations to come.
The safety and health of our community depends on this.
It is with respect and urgency I plead with you to reconsider this Bill and allow an Enviromental Assessment that was promised to us to go through.
We are literally fighting for our lives.
