"We are proposing to remove environmental assessment requirements for the York1 waste disposal site project through the proposed Protect Ontario by Unleashing our Economy Act, 2025".

I do not understand how changing to remove the environmental assessment requirement for the Dresden Dump is good for our economy! As a resident of Dresden for most of my life, this will NOT help our economy at all, it will kill this small town. There will be no future development with a dump within 800 meters of town limit. Our future involves our children and you want to expose them to a dump so close to their schools .
The area of the proposed dump will leach into an area that as a child I spent many hours exploring and playing and seeing some creatures which are now on the endangered species list. With this dump it will surely be the end of those same creatures.
Please reconsider and require a EA for this site!!
