As a Dresden resident, I am appalled to hear of this application for York1 to not have to do a complete environmental assessment on their proposal to expand a DORMANT dump near Dresden that is right on the outskirts of our town. To not consider human lives with this entire endeavor is outrageous and inhumane. People's lives have to be the priority in this situation. To have our land, air and waterways polluted, to have hundreds of trucks PER DAY coming through our area, to have our residences lose value because of a DUMP that is only 800 m from town is NOT ACCEPTABLE. IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT A COMPLETE ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT BE DONE FOR THE SAKE OF HUMAN LIVES.

Perhaps more dumps are needed but to just create a HUGE site for Toronto garbage seconds from Dresden is reprehensible.

I request that a complete environmental assessment be done prior to this project commencing AS HAD BEEN PREVIOUSLY APPROVED OF BY THE GOVERNMENT. Then all will see the complete damage to our area this would produce and then it will be evident this proposal for a dump in our area is not feasible.
