I'm fine with any advertising that does not switch between ads too quickly and is not digital. My previous residence of Halifax, NS has a MASSIVE digital billboard on the Bedford Highway (just a road that goes around the harbour). The main issue with this billboard is the brightness. It does not change ads too quickly so that's fine, but the brightness is incredibly distracting and blinding and is dangerous for driving.
My personal opinion and suggestion: I'm fine with digital and non-digital billboards, but please regulate how often they switch and also their brightness levels to ensure safe driving conditions, especially in darker conditions.
