As a farmer along the Sydenham River, I’m deeply concerned about what could end up in the water—especially during spring flooding. I’m just one concession over, and the nonstop truck traffic will bring constant noise.

We already share the roads with farm equipment. During tomato and harvest seasons, roads are packed. Add 700 trucks to that and it’s a disaster waiting to happen. There will be accidents. People could get killed.

Big trucks already drive recklessly—this will only make it worse. Please don’t remove the Environmental Assessment. We need protection, not risk
