I oppose bill 5 on the reason that it shows no regard for animal conservation at a time where extinction rates are rising.
I oppose any proposition to remove the public from these decisions, to remove awareness of our delicate ecosystems and providing uncontrolled rights for people to develop whatever they want in areas already threatened and vulnerable because of human involvement.
This bill poses a great threat to migratory birds and aquatic species along with many others and I cannot stand for this to happen.
