I am writing to add my voice…

I am writing to add my voice IN OPPOSITION to the government's planned dismantling big the white pines wind development here in Prince Edward County. I live in the village of Milford, and my home sits very close to three of these wind turbines. At a time when EVERY DAY the news reports contain dire warnings about climate change, the current provincial government is proposing to dismantle a green energy project that is almost completed, and would produce enough electricity to offset most of what we here in the County consume in a given year?? This is nonsensical, irrational, and will form a PERMANENT STAIN on the reputation of the once proud political legacy of the Ontario Progressive Conservative Party! Not to mention the hundreds of millions the cancelled project will cost us taxpayers in lawsuits and broken contracts! I hope that, with sober second thought, the Premier will permit this project to proceed and fulfill its promise to help us, AND FUTURE GENERATIONS, live, work and play in an Ontario that has a sustainable future!!!
