This government's cancellation of the White Pines wind farm project is a clear indicator that they are not equipped to lead Ontarians into the future. The various arguments used to justify this cancellation don't make common sense. There are many constituents in Prince Edward County and throughout Ontario that recognize the value of renewable energy and recognize that we need to be planning ahead to be in a position to deliver energy that has minimal impact on our environment and on climate change. A "promise kept" to a handful of vocal opponents does not constitute good governance or good leadership. We need a government that is looking out for all its constituents, for now and for the future.
