I am vehemently opposed to Bill 5. Firstly, we are at the tipping point of our environmental crisis. We need to be strengthening our environmental protections, not repealing them. This is especially true in regards to protecting endangered species. Secondly, we do not need to be giving any industry the ability to take short cuts without public oversight. This country belongs to the people, not businesses. Nothing should be done to our land without our approval. Lastly, no one should be allowed to override the law in special economic zones. We put those laws in place for a reason. Strike down Bill 5!
