Response to Key Questions:
I support removal of market entry controls because private business needs to participate in order to keep both local and Provincial government input costs to a minimum. I listened to a transportation report by our City Clerk (Project Leader of the City's Transportation Steering Committee) to a group of seniors today. She indicated that use of our current handi-transit bus has been declining as citizens find other ways of getting from point A to point B. On open market will allow for flexibility and cost-effective solutions to be promoted.
We are currently aggressively partnering with the Native Friendship Centre, Patricia Regional Senior Services, the Dryden Regional Health Centre and DKSB to create synergies in the public transportation space.
Sincerely,
Greg Wilson
