I oppose Bill 5.
The endangered species act needs to continue to protect endangered species and their habitat. Indigenous engagement and consultation are paramount.
No special development zones are needed. Developers can continue to do their work with the appropriate buffers and timing windows as they have done so for years.
Environmental studies, protection, and restoration should always be a priority.
