Dear Madam or Sir,
In responding to your comments about Bill 5, I must admit that I do not trust the Ford government to be truthful and thoughtful about safeguarding our environment.
Please consider my two comments below.
1. Nowhere have I noticed comments about safeguarding the roaming area required by different species. Please include stipulations to guaranteed that all species, whether now living or previously living in the specified area, will have enough room to roam and collect food to maintain its health.
2. Species should not be harassed at all. Your sentence structure seems to propose that harassment does not require a registration or permit.
Please see, “ the revised definition of habitat will be included and harassment of species will not be an activity that requires registration or a permit”
Our lives depend upon maintaining space for all living things. Removing land from our wild spaces, prevents life from continuing. When creatures from lower orders of plants and animals disappear, we also will disappear in time.
