In these days of climate change lessening the protections that the species at risk have in the cause of being 'open for business' is ridiculous.

Protecting our natural areas is important. Once they're gone we are down to manicured green-spaces, concrete jungles and cash crop farms.

Watch any video of the national anthem and you'll see dozens of clips of the wonderful natural areas of Canada along with three or four urban shots. Canadians are proud of their natural areas. Lets try to keep them.
