We need to continue protecting the habitats of both animals and plants that are unique to Ontario, as well as those plants and animals that live in Ontario but are not rare. That involves protecting habitats that are more than just their dwelling place or their hunting grounds.
The land surrounding those specific areas are important to supporting those particular spots. They help maintain the specified habitats by providing supportive protection and additional environmental care. They are a necessary part of the ecosystems for those dwellings and hunting/feeding grounds.
I do not support the changes to the Endangered Species Act. This needs to be dropped like the bad idea it is.
