The landfill site of York 1is a massive environmental hazard that cannot be allowed to proceed.
This site has a direct connection to the Sydenham River, which is home to over 33 species at risk. The salamander mussel is the only known habitat to exist in Canada.
We want our agricultural land and waterways protected from environmental hazards.
Why won’t anyone listen to us and why are we continuously having to fight for what anyone can see is not fit for this site
We need an environmental assessment and to not have this dump be so close to our town.
Everyone knows how unsafe this is and that a dump shouldn’t be less than 1 km from any town.
