I drove past a landfill for 20 years, up until 2 years ago and you could smell that landfill from 4 to 5 km in any direction depending on which way the wind was blowing. Always having to wait for traffic to turn in and always needing to clean off the road because the trucks were so messy.
And now you want to put a landfill less than 1 kilometer away from a town of nearly 3,000 people.
The smell of the landfill and the traffic from these trucks will destroy these roads and this town. This large business will help increase our taxes in the area, but it will decrease the value of our homes.
