It's becoming more and more clear that wind turbines are detrimental to humans and wildlife. It they are to be part of our energy mix, they need to be sited much further away from homes/human habitation and NOT on migratory routes of birds. Owls hunt by sound so turbines near their hunting grounds diminish what they can locate to eat as well as killing them by hits from whirling blades. Ignoring either of these repercussions will seriously impact all 'life' in Ontario and on the planet. Can we afford to do this?
