Bill 5 is not a good bill. I do not support this bill and I have written to my MPP regarding this.
This bill is taking away environmental protection! The world is having a biodiversity crisis right now because of overdevelopment and climate change. We need to protect forests, wetlands, and grasslands as they are carbon sinks. We need to protect the creatures within these habitats because once they are gone they are gone forever. It is time that we think of more than just money but think of the future of the next generation and generations to come and the future of our planet and all those who live on it!
