It seems that this act is geared less towards the people of Ontario, and more to the corporations. Removing the protections given to workers and trying to "streamline" work, which means attempting to use technology over humans does not make Ontario more competitive. Affordable child care does not mean placing more children with less workers, that would only cause more problems as workers would then raise pricing as they deserve as it would be added stress.
Many of these "ideas" aren't very well thought out and that does not surprise me, as the current Premier seems to be thinking more of his pockets than the people.
