I oppose Bill 5 and the changes to the Endangered Species Act. Ontario needs tighter regulations and public oversight for industry regarding its environmental impacts. I strongly oppose the creation of ‘special economic zones’ and the unchecked power this scheme gives the government to disregard environmental protections and indigenous rights in favour of supposed economic advancement.
