When species habitats…

When species habitats crumble, humans will crumble. Wetland habitats near me in the suburbs have been destroyed to build new townhouses. We saw an increase in wildlife running through our suburban streets. This meant an increase in wildlife rummaging through garbage, and an increase in local pets being harmed or killed by predators confused and seeking food. This is just one of the many ways that Bill 5 could contribute to habitat destruction and harm to human life as well. I oppose Bill 5 and Doug Ford’s attempts to give big companies free reign over our natural world.
