To have the EA assessment…

To have the EA assessment requirement removed from York1’s responsibilities is ludicrous and unethical to say the very least. The scope of York1’s project is so huge it just blows my mind. This small dormant landfill has never been used as an active dump…it is my understanding it was used for incinerator ash many many years ago. To turn it into a mega dump to process 6000 tonnes of Torontos garbage DAILY 24 hours a day, 7 days a week is just not humane or acceptable. And to not have to do an EA for this monstrosity of a proposal is beyond my comprehension. People’s lives are at stake here…physically, financially and mentally. We are people of ONTARIO too!! Why aren’t we being protected? Are our lives not as important as others???? An EA must be done to see the risks involved in this horrific proposal by York1. For the Ford government to reverse the decision to have them do an EA is suspicious and unethical. Let the facts come to light through an EA. To avoid doing an EA makes me wonder what they are afraid will be discovered that could lead to this mega dump project being cancelled.
I pray for God to build a hedge of protection around Dresden and protect it from this horde coming against it.
