Our wildlife and natural lands are key to our identity as Ontarians. Stripping the Endangered Species Act as a means of economic growth Does Not protect our fragile natural spaces or our wildlife, and will tarnish our identity.
Furthermore, any changes to the Endangered Species Act must be done with prior consent with First Nations and done with respect to Treaties.
The current Endangered Species Act works well for Ontario, our people, our lands, and our wildlife.
