I strongly oppose any efforts to weaken or roll back the protections provided by the Endangered Species Act (ESA). This landmark legislation is one of our nation’s most effective tools for preventing extinction and preserving the delicate balance of life on Earth. Undermining the ESA not only threatens the survival of countless species already on the brink, but also jeopardizes the health of entire ecosystems that humanity depends on for clean air, water, food, and climate stability.

Biodiversity is not optional — it is essential. Each species, no matter how small, plays a vital role in its ecosystem. Removing protections from endangered species is short-sighted and irresponsible, especially in the face of accelerating habitat loss, climate change, and human encroachment. Once a species is gone, it is gone forever. We cannot afford to trade the future of our planet’s biodiversity for short-term political or economic gain.
