As a terrestrial ecologist, I know that these species are found in a variety of habitats, and many species at risk have foraging, nesting, social and movement habitats that are not within the same area, and may not be where these species are found in that moment. All these habitats are IMPORTANT for the lives of these species and should all be protected, otherwise they will continue to be at risk. The purpose of this act should be to rehabilitate these populations and restore the species numbers, this will NOT happen if a variety of their habitats are taken from them. Imagine stopping a human on a walk and being like "oh this is their natural habitat, they don't need a home, or to eat and they will survive". This is not the case for humans and not the case for these animals. Do not remove these habitat protections.
