Significant reductions to the ESA act might provide shirt term gains, but in 2025 we know that turning back environmental damage and losses are nearly impossible. Ensuring that we protect species and land must be given an equal lens to economic development. Once the green spaces and animals are gone it takes so much more time, energy and money than if we'd just made the difficult choices at the start. Also, humans only usually find out the value and necessity of these things once they're gone and we see the side-effects to development - flooding, erosion, invasive species - the list goes on. I am not in favor of these changes.
