With the increase in development in the city of Toronto and in Ontario in general, we need MORE protection for the wildlife we share our province with, not less. This bill is a blatant attempt to make it easier to continue destroying wildlife habitats and harming wildlife. What a sad comment on the city that it recently killed a mated pair of coyotes because a few loud and vocal citizens could not keep their dogs on leash or were feeding the coyotes. The construction at Ontario Place has destroyed the habitat for many of our wildlife and the government must be an advocate and protector of all wildlife. I'm saddened to see how Ontario's government shows a lack of care and compassion for our wild species. Do better.
