The York 1 dump could ruin the sustainability of the Sydenham river’s ecosystem because to put it simply, it would pollute the water, soil etc. This pollution can lead to these creatures getting harmed, losing a food source due to unhealthy living conditions, and even dying. The addition of the dump will also mean a line up of garbage trucks mindlessly driving, not paying attention to if there’s an animal on the road, or if they lose garbage from the back of the trucks, potentially polluting the water and making the habitat unlivable over time. These trucks will also most likely run on gas, polluting the air around this habitat. If Dresden is to ever get a dump, they will have to have very strict rules for pollution and need good security so no garbage will blow away over the barriers and into the river ruining the river for us all.
