This could lead to a decrease in the population of these species, and could even cause some species to go extinct. The dump could also disrupt the natural flow of the river, which could have a negative impact on the habitat of the species that live there. It is important to protect the Sydenham river ecosystem, as it is a vital part of the environment. The Sydenham river has an amazing diversity of aquatic life. It’s a home for 34 muscle species and 80 fish species. More than 20 fish and mussels in Sydenham are Species at Risk (SAR). So I believe they should just leave the Sydenham alone and not mess with habitats or the water. That's why they should leave the case of the dump.
