This is a comment against the bill. Proper assessment of development sites have existed for a reason, specifically so that economic growth does not come at a societal cost to everyone else. This bill exempts corporations from necessary assessments and regulations and exempts them from civil liability, and would provide them special legal protection from the consequences of reckless development. Removing the precautions and due process we currently have in place to do exactly what those regulations exist to prevent is unwise and irresponsible.
